Why it works

It gathers the children without saying a word

At any outdoor event, the children are the first problem. They get bored in ten minutes, scatter across the venue, and the parents follow them out.

Bubbles fix that with no microphone and no schedule. The first two-metre bubble drifting over their heads does the work on its own: they come, they chase it, they come back. Nobody calls them.

Meanwhile the adults are filming. You end up with dozens of photos online that nobody had to ask for.

How it runs

One hour means 45 minutes of bubbles

The other 15 minutes are a break.
It isn't a shortcut — it's the rhythm that keeps the act as good at the end as it was in the first quarter of an hour.

The recipe is his, and it is made ahead

The solution is mixed two days before, to a recipe only he knows. That's why the bubbles come out two to three metres wide instead of shop-bought ones.

45 minutes of play, 15 of break

He works with his arms above his head the whole time. Without the break, the second half hour visibly drops off.

Minimum 2 hours in Bucharest

Outside Bucharest the minimum is 3 hours, with travel costs included in the quote where applicable.

He arrives early, lays out the props and picks his spot, so he is ready before the event starts.

Good to know

  • Outdoors is best. It works in a hall too, but the floor turns slippery and it takes extra prep.
  • Daylight is best: the colours inside the bubble come from the sun.
  • Strong wind pops the bubbles. In gusts the performer moves the area or takes a break.
  • He needs clear space, enough to swing the wands without touching anyone.

What people ask us

How long does a giant soap bubble act last?
One hour of activity means 45 minutes of bubbles and a 15-minute break. The minimum is 2 hours in Bucharest and 3 hours outside the city. The break isn't optional: he works with his arms above his head throughout, and without it the quality drops visibly.
Can it be done indoors?
Yes, but it takes more planning. The solution reaches the floor and makes it slippery, so we need a marked-off area and a surface we can work on. Outdoors is simpler and looks better. Tell us where the event is and we'll say whether it works.
Does it work in the evening?
It looks best in daylight. The colours you see in the photos are sunlight refracted in the soap film. Without it, the bubbles stay transparent. For an evening event we have acts built for artificial light: Transformers robots, Mirror Men, LED Drummers.
What age does it work for?
From about two years old they chase the bubbles without anyone explaining anything. Adults stop just as often: at public events, a good share of the photos taken during the act come from the parents, not the children.
How many performers do we need?
For a private event with 20-40 children, one performer is enough. At festivals, activations or city events, two or three cover separate areas so the crowd doesn't pile into one spot. We have four performers available.
Do you travel outside Bucharest?
Yes, anywhere in the country. Outside Bucharest the minimum is 3 hours of activity, with travel costs included in the quote where applicable. Tell us the town and we'll give you a concrete answer.
What happens if it rains or the wind picks up?
Rain stops the act: the bubbles burst on contact with the drops. Strong wind does the same, but there we can work around it: the performer moves to a sheltered area or takes a break until it settles. We agree a plan B with the organiser in advance.
Can you close a child inside a bubble?
Yes, but it has to be requested in advance and it only works indoors, out of the wind. Outside, a draught pops the bubble before it can close. Ask for it when you request the quote.
Can the children make bubbles too?
Yes, and that's half the fun. The performer lets them try with the smaller props and teaches them the motion. The act is built for them to step into, not to watch.
